An affordable solution for those short on time, our 3-Day Safari includes a visit to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Camping and lodge accommodations are available, and we can tailor this trip to meet your exact dates when booked as a private departure.

DAY 1: MOSHI – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Depart Moshi early morning for your 3-day safari adventure. Your driver/guide will collect you from the hotel reception and transfer you to the magnificent Tarangire National Park, where you will enjoy your first game drive. Famous for its ancient baobab trees, enormous elephant herds, and abundance of bird species, this spectacular national park has much to offer intrepid travellers. As the only source of water in the area, it attracts large numbers of wildlife, making it ideal for your first day on safari.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before transferring to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER

After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Tarangire behind as you make your way towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will enjoy a full day safari in this awe-inspiring caldera believed to be almost three million years old. Wildlife is abundant in the crater, with lions, elephants, hyenas, and even black rhino ensconced within its 600m high walls. As with day one, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, returning to your chosen accommodation early evening.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER – LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK – MOSHI – DEPARTURE

This morning you will make your way to Lake Manyara National Park in the Great Rift Valley. While not as famous as Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara offers a fascinating safari experience with majestic tree-climbing lions, vibrant pink flamingos, Masai giraffe, and large herds of buffalo. After a morning game drive in the park, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back to Moshi, where you can freshen up before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
