Designed to add the finishing touch to your Kilimanjaro Expedition, our 4-Day Safari highlights three of Tanzania’s leading wildlife destinations, namely Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. An overland adventure, starting and ending in Moshi, it is available as a camping safari or lodge safari, with departures available 365-days of the year.

 

DAY 1: MOSHI – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Today you will depart Moshi on your 4-day safari adventure. At the agreed time, your driver/guide will collect you in a 4x4 safari vehicle, and transfer you to Tarangire National Park through spectacular rural landscapes. Inside the park, you’ll enjoy your first game drive amongst ancient baobab trees. Elephants are abundant here, as are migrating animals such as wildebeest and zebra, and there are over 400 bird species in the park.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After a delicious bush breakfast, you will continue your adventure today to Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Migration. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations with an abundance of wildlife. Sightings of lions, cheetahs, wildebeest, zebra, and elephants are common here, and you may even spot the elusive leopard during your full-day safari inside the park.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Rise early this morning for an sunrise game drive in the Serengeti. At this time of the day, you are likely to catch lions and other predators during their morning hunt, and the photo opportunities are endless. You’ll enjoy brunch inside the park before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will dinner and overnight on the rim of its world-famous crater.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER – MOSHI – DEPARTURE

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a unique safari experience within its 600m high walls. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, this ancient caldera homes some of the worlds most enchanting wildlife, including lions, black-spotted hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, gazelles, small antelopes, and rare back rhino.

After your game drive, you’ll enjoy lunch by the hippo pool before driving back to Moshi. Here, you can collect any stored luggage and freshen up before transferring to the airport for your return flight home.
