You can climb Mount Kilimanjaro at any time of year, and each month brings different rewards. Drier months tend to be the busiest months on the mountain, while colder months are more likely to have snow.
There is no summer and winter here, but wet and dry seasons, and so you should consider the average temperatures and precipitation figures listed below when booking your expedition.
Kilimanjaro has five ecological zones, and so you will experience changeable conditions throughout your journey.
Temperatures change as quickly as the flora and fauna on the mountain, and so we recommend packing for wet, dry, hot, and cold, and expect the unexpected!
